Tumblr Post Generator
The Tumblr Post Generator recreates a current Tumblr dashboard post card: the reblogger header with its green reblog badge and Reblogged-from line, a stacked reblog chain where every blog gets its own avatar, name, Follow button and content, then #tags and the split footer with comment, reblog and like counts. Pick True Blue, Dark Mode or one of ten other Tumblr palettes, build a clearly fictional chain, and export a crisp PNG straight from your browser.

Logged-in view of a blog you don't follow yet.
Appends your own section (badge avatar, no Follow) after the trail.
Use @name for blue mentions, **bold** and *italic*. Lists take one item per line. Empty blocks are hidden.
The first entry is the original poster; each next one is a reblogger who added to the chain.

No # needed; spaces are kept. More than three lines collapse into “… See all”, like on Tumblr.
Plain numbers are formatted for you; 0 or empty shows just the icon.
Tumblr Post Generator features
Full reblog chains
Stack up to four blogs in the trail, each with its own avatar, badges, timestamp, Follow pill and content, separated by the hairline rules Tumblr uses, plus an optional added comment from the reblogger.
Rich content blocks
Mix plain text, headings, quotes, chat, indented text, bullet and numbered lists, asks from named or anonymous blogs, and images with an optional ALT chip. @mentions are highlighted automatically.
Authentic tags and footer
Tags keep their spaces and clamp to three lines with a See all link, just like the dashboard. Pick the 2026 split footer with compact or full counts, or the legacy notes pill, and toggle liked and reblogged states.
Twelve Tumblr palettes
Switch between True Blue (default), Dark Mode, Low-Contrast Classic, Cement, Cybernetic, Canary, Ghost, Vampire, Pumpkin, Snow Bright, Goth Rave and Pride, each built from Tumblr's own colour tokens.
Expand fade and high-res export
Optionally clip a tall post behind Tumblr's timeline Expand bar, then download a sharp story-height PNG rendered entirely client-side.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Tumblr Post Generator free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no login, no account and no export limits. A Pro option removes the watermark and doubles the export resolution.
Can I make a reblog chain with several blogs?
Yes. Add up to four trail sections, each with its own blog name, avatar, badges, Follow button and content, plus an optional comment from the blog doing the reblog. You can also switch to a single original post.
Does it support Tumblr's new split like and reblog counts?
Yes. The default footer shows separate comment, reblog and like counts the way Tumblr has displayed them since 2026, with compact (38K) or full (38,204) formatting. You can switch to the older notes-count footer instead.
Is there a Tumblr dark mode?
Yes. True Blue and Dark Mode are one click apart, and ten more official Tumblr palettes such as Cybernetic, Vampire and Pumpkin are available under More palettes.
Can I upload my own avatars and images?
Yes. Upload and crop an avatar for every blog in the chain and add your own images to any post section. Everything stays in your browser and is never uploaded to a server.
Is it okay to use these mockups?
Use them for fictional, illustrative purposes such as memes, presentations, design comps and teaching. Don't use them to impersonate real Tumblr users, fabricate quotes, or mislead anyone.
