Is the Boarding Pass Generator free?
Yes. It is completely free with no account or sign-up required, and you can create as many boarding pass mockups as you like.
Is it legal to make a fake boarding pass?
Creating a clearly fictional boarding pass for design comps, films, education, memes or presentations is fine. Never use a generated pass to attempt to board a flight, pass through security, claim a refund or deceive anyone — that is fraud.
Can I use a real airline's name and colors?
You can type any airline name and pick any color, but be careful: using a real carrier's branding to mislead people is not acceptable. Keep your mockups clearly fictional, and prefer an invented airline for public content.
Is the barcode a real scannable code?
No. The barcode is a decorative pattern generated from your flight number and seat for visual realism only. It does not encode real flight data and will not scan as a valid ticket.
